Generating one way links to boost Your Sites Exposure to the web's Potential customers - Part TWO

Last week we started to give ideas on how to build a well planned Back Link Building Strategy. We covered two means to get your sites Backlink program underway and started, via;

Directory Submissions and Link Exchanges - if you missed part one, visit: Kacsca Web Directory   to refresh.

This week we shall cover another three means that should be included in any well planned backlink building strategy:

3.  Article Submissions

Similar to Directory submissions, from Article submissions you get one or more  “one way” backlinks from within the Articles you submit plus your sites link as author of the Article. With article submissions you must register with the Article Directory/s selected and then you submit the article you have written in the appropriate category to have your Article published in the Article Directory. With Article submissions if you develop well constructed informative article/s then hopefully other sites may pick up your article for inclusion in their website together with the backlinks you have included.

Article Directories are a good source of  gaining suitable content for a web site for editors that do not produce all their own content. By getting content from the Article directories the user should keep and acknowledge the author and author's links within the article.

There are many, many article Directories that can be found on the Internet, these can be found by doing a simply Google search, or re-visit some of the Directories you have used to submit your sites link and go to their article Directory Listings, this will give you many suitable Article directories in one place. 4. Forum postings

A further method of building links is to post informative and interesting posts in forums. This method can be time consuming but can also be very informative and helpful and provide you with useful information and contacts while consistently building backlinks.

With Forums you must register as a user and then as part of your profile you have the option of including a link or links as part of your signature that shows on the bottom your posts. In the signature you add your sites link, so each and every post you make you are adding a further backlink. The more you participate in the Forums discussions the more you are building your backlinks.

Forums come is a very extensive range and cover just about any topic you could possibly think of, so there is no way you could not find a suitable Forum on a topic that interests you and you can participate in the discussions. Again Forums can be found simply by doing a Google search or visiting one of your previously used Directories, where you will find many forums and their page Rank (in many cases). Be careful not to spam, post many unrelevant posts and in non related discussions, in the Forums as you can have your account banned and your efforts will be wasted as your links are deleted with your posts.

5. Social Bookmarking

Another way of building suitable Backlinks is via Social Bookmarking Sites. Bookmarking is basically recommending a website to other internet users, via sites (bookmarking sites) specifically set up and run as a bookmarking service. There are many, many Social bookmarking sites from the well known high profile ones like Digg and Stumbleon to the hundreds of smaller bookmarking sites.

Again you must register to become involved in the particular Bookmarking site/s where you are then able to promote your website or content by adding the information to the social bookmarking site and bookmark it. You get an instant backlink from these powerful websites and also visitors that may then check out your bookmark and visit and or add to the recommendation of your site. Again suitable Social Bookmarking sites can be found by doing a Google search or visiting one of the Directories you use.

This second part of the series gives you the opportunity to start to add the above three suggestions to your link building program, while you shoould still be utilising the suggestions of the first part and always consistently adding to your Link exchanges and Directory submissions. Link Building for your site is a ongoing process and necessary to increase your sites relevance to the internet traffic and have that traffic find your website.
